phpllCpYsPM[1]For the first time this year I am using a product to control cucumber beetles and squash bugs on my squash plants. The product is garden defense by Arbice organics and it is an insecticidle soap with neem oil. Normally by August my squash plants are pretty well devestated by squash bugs boring into the vines but this year they are healthy and vibrant. Best of all the garden defense does not seem to affect beneficials. I have plenty of ants and bees around my garden and things are pollinating fairly well so far. We’ll see if the cucumbers pollinate for me.
